Advisement in Arts & Sciences
Freshmen, sophomores and juniors in the College of Arts & Sciences receive academic advisement through CASA (College of Arts & Sciences Advisement), which also provides resources and institutional coordination for departmental and program advisors. CASA is dedicated to offering professional academic expertise within a scholarly community of creativity, hospitality and care.
BURST (Baylor Undergraduate Research in Science & Technology)
BURST is a student organization for Baylor undergraduates interested in scientific research. Its mission of is to increase awareness of undergraduate research on the Baylor campus, provide opportunities for undergraduates to optimize their research experiences, and educate undergraduates in the proper habits and techniques of research in scientific fields.
Career and Professional Development
The Baylor University Career Center in the Paul L. Foster Success Center assists students as they make decisions about their professional goals. Services involve career fairs, workshops, mock interviews, help with résumés and cover letters and access to job search resources.

Foster Success Center, located in the Sid Richardson Building at the heart of campus, encompasses programs and services ranging from academic advisement and support to career counseling and career services for Baylor students. URSA (Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Achievement)
The URSA initiative at Baylor welcomes all undergraduates, from freshman to senior, to consider maximizing their education through a variety of research and scholarly activities found both within the classroom and beyond. Events include Scholars Week, when Baylor dedicates an entire week to undergraduate scholarly presentation. Students who have conducted research within the past year are encouraged to present their work.
