High-flying Students Will Represent Baylor at Prestigious Aviation Conferences

Each year, the Baylor Institute for Aviation Sciences in the College of Arts & Sciences offers its junior and senior students the opportunity to submit a essay for competition, with the winners sent to either the Women in Aviation International Conference or the University Aviation Association (UAA) Policy Seminar on behalf of Baylor. This year’s submissions were excellent, and the essays of four students were chosen as winners.

Tyler Robinson, a junior aviation sciences major from Atlanta, Georgia, and Alexandra Rushing, a junior aviation administration major from Buda, Texas, will represent Baylor University at the University Aviation Association (UAA) Aviation Policy Seminar in Washington D.C. in January 2025.

Sofia Young, a junior aviation administration major from Bulverde, Texas, and Brayden Bland, a senior aviation sciences major from Pearland, Texas, will represent Baylor at the 35th annual Women in Aviation International Conference in Denver, Colorado, in March 2025.
